Where it began

Carson and I dated in high school, then life took us in different directions through college and the years after. One summer when I was visiting family back home in San Antonio, we decided to grab Chispas at Soluna and catch up. Neither of us were sure of what to expect after so much time apart, but once we were there, it felt like none had passed at all.

Not long after, Carson came to visit me in New York, where I was living at the time. It was a quick trip and his first time there, and we ate so much food and walked everywhere we could, basically the perfect introduction to my life there at the time and a fun and wonderful start to ours together.
